As regards shoes, I
would like to describe the tradition of my family (maybe somebody makes the
same). Before the baptism, it is necessary to put a banknote (or two) into the
shoes of the baby. It should guarantee affluence and happiness. By the way, it’s really uncomfortable, isn’t? Do you belive
in superstition?
As far as tradition
is concerned, it’s deeply rooted in Poland. It’s suprising that so many people preserve
the traditional customs. A lot of them, in my opinion, seem a bit strange and jaw-dropping.
But every county has its won customs. I’m curious about British and English superstition. Do
you know any prejudice?
